The great thing about an EJC is that once you are on site all the activities and shows are all free for you to access. No charge for any workshop, No charge for any show.*
Our timetable of events is filing up fast and we will go live with it in the coming months. Some activities are space limited and there will be sign up sheets. Sign up sheets will usually be available daily at the info point tent. Many of the workshops that are available for you to attend are being offered by your fellow attendees and with no charge to the event organisers, so be sure to show them your gratitude with a big thank you at the end of each session. The event would not be what it is without all the voluntary contributions of those who come so we are all so very grateful to those who give their time and skills to make it so amazing.
(*the only exception is if you purchase a day ticket on the day of a Gala Show, in which case there is an additional cost for the show ticket)
The Extreme Unicycling Championship will be held at the EJC in 2019. The actual competitions will be held at the end of the week.
During the week there will be unicycling workshops both extreme and ordinary!
Come along to learn to ride, practice the trials courses or compete. There will be more information here soon, check back regularly or sign up to our newsletter to find out all our news.
Western Arts Village
Here in the UK there is an ever growing community of Western Arts enthusiasts. At the EJC there will be an extensive area dedicated to throwing ranges, whip workshops, lasso lessons and gun spinning.
The throwing ranges are being run by The Essex Backyard Throwers who will be setting up and running many workshops over the week. They will have knives for you to borrow!
Balloon Jam Room
There will be hundreds of balloons for you to use to work on all your balloon models, adventurous or simple! Come along and find us in the conference rooms next to the Aerial hall.
There will be competitions and classes, talks and lectures, fun and twisting! Check back for news on visiting lecturers and workshops.
Aerial & Acro
There will be a fantastic indoor space dedicated to all things aerial and acro. The space is being run by the fantastic Lost in Translation team who also be bringing their tremendous new big top for us to use.
Each morning in this Big Top there will be Masterclasses in advanced Aerial Skills. More information about these and how you can sign up will be made available closer to the time.
It isn't an EJC without a lovely big space to practice all of your juggling tricks and this year won't be any different.
With over 3000 square metres in our main hall and plenty of room outside you won't be disappointed. The hall has lots of natural light and polished concrete flooring. We plan to lay carpet on parts of the hall to cater for those who prefer it a little softer under foot.

The Ladybird Project will be joining us at the EJC offering a bespoke children’s play and cabaret area.
There will be a range of games, activities and shows tailor made to suit the younger members of the event. Many of these will take place in and around the fabulous Ladybird red tent. Look out for them in the Entertainment area.
Three club combat is the juggling sport with only one simple rule: The last person juggling wins! No convention is worth anything these days without a Fight Night and the EJC is the biggest one of the lot!
